Welcoming Baby Blaise | Raleigh Newborn Photographer

There’s something so special about being able to capture different seasons of someone’s life. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to photograph KO and Ebonee from their engagement to married life to maternity and now into parenthood! I love being able to look back and see the progression of people’s stories over time, and I was so excited to capture this new chapter for them.

Blaise was born a week before his due date, but we all know that babies operate on their own timetables. He was 8lbs 8.5oz and 19.5 inches long. At their maternity session, I learned that Ebonee is planning for a jungle/safari-themed nursery, so we went with a tan, green, and white color scheme to compliment the space.

KO and Ebonee, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these moments for you. Blaise will only be this tiny for so long, and I hope you look back on these images and remember his sweet little features, the way it felt to have his heartbeat close to yours, and the way he fit right into your arms. The road that lies ahead is not always easy, but as you lean into one another, I know you’ll find strength for the journey. You make an amazing team. Congratulations again on your little one.
